Studentship Awards announced

The British Hydrological Society and the JBA Trust are delighted to announce that seven MSc students have received a Studentship Award to support their MSc studies in hydrology or catchment management related courses in 2014/15.

Now in its fourth year, the Studentship Award aims to encourage talented students wishing to pursue development of their academic experience and qualifications.

Graduates of MSc courses play a vital part in the future management of the water environment.

The successful students are:

  • Rebecca Hobby, studying for an MRes in River Science at the University of Worcester
  • Dee Gilbert, studying for an MSc in River Basin Dynamics and Channel Management with GIS at the University of Leeds
  • Danny Croghan, studying for an MSc in River Environments and their Management at the University of Birmingham
  • Laura Foden, studying for an MSc in River Environments and their Management at the University of Birmingham
  • Luke Clay, studying for an MSc in River Basin Management and GIS at the University of Leeds
  • Leanne Fawcett, studying for an MSc in Hydrology and Climate Change Newcastle University
  • Fredric Windsor, studying for an MSc in River Environments and their Management at the University of Birmingham
