Flood Awareness Roadshow

Jeremy Benn and Gary Deakin attended the Flood Awareness Roadshow in Rochdale on 3 August 2014 and used the JBA Trust hydraulic flume to demonstrate how the design of culverts and structures in rivers can affect local flooding.

The event was organised by Rochdale Council, the National Flood Forum and the Flood Resilience Community Pathfinder Project to help local people become more aware of how they might be affected by flooding and what they and their families can do to help prepare against the threat of flooding.
