Learning resources

Interactive models

Interactive models bring water to life and help people understand how water behaves in catchments, rivers and at the coast. We use physical models of water to support education activities with partners in a wide range of settings including schools, museums, festivals, STEM events and universities.

Digital learning resources

Working with schools and other environmental education charities, we have developed a range of freely available resources that can be used to support learning activities for all ages in the classroom and the community.  The resources are all available online and are designed to complement our interactive models.

Weather station

We have installed a weather station at our office near Skipton, North Yorkshire. The data is freely available for use by schools, universities and communities. It can be used for a variety of educational projects, including weather reporting, understanding meteorological measurements and data handling.
