Celebrating World Rivers Day
What did you do for World Rivers Day?
We helped celebrate by taking along our ‘mini-flume‘ river model to the World Rivers Day event in City Park, Bradford. The event was organised by Friends of Bradford’s Becks to coincide with the official opening of the Bradford Beck Trail which reveals Bradford’s hidden underground river.

The sun shone and a steady stream of visitors enjoyed all the river activities, including fly fishing with the Wild Trout Trust, ‘Poopla’ with WaterAid, the Environment Agency’s ‘Make it Rain’ models, our mini-flume demonstrations and guided tours of the Bradford Beck Trail.
We’re very pleased with our new van and awning which means that we can store and transport all our models and deliver demonstrations under cover, whatever the weather!
