Supporting the next generation of hydrologists

In partnership with the British Hydrological Society (BHS) and the Environment Agency, we encourage talented students to study a hydrology or catchment management related masters course by offering bursaries of up to £2,500 through the Studentship Awards Scheme.  We have supported 107 students at 25 different UK universities since 2011.

This poster, presented by Alex Scott at the British Hydrological Society’s 40th Anniversary event on 6 November 2023, explores the impact of the awards and what the hydrology community can do to encourage a diverse pipeline of talent.
