We’ll be sharing the highlights of our support for research, education and engagement activities, reflecting on what we have learnt and inviting you to help shape what we do and who we help over the next 10 years.
Day 1 – Science translation, education and engagement
Tuesday 20 September 2022, Utopia, Broughton Park near Skipton
This is an in-person event where we will be exploring the learning resources we have developed to support flood risk education and engagement. There will be plenty of opportunities to see all our physical models in action, ask questions and have a go!
There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the exciting nature recovery project based at the Broughton Estate.

14:45 – Workshop – Engaging with risks in the water cycle: how do physical models help?

The event is being hosted in the Utopia cafe and walled gardens. There is plenty of parking available immediately adjacent to the walled gardens. Day 2 – Research partnerships and future priorities
Wednesday 21 September, Virtual Event hosted on Teams
This is a short online event where we’ll be sharing highlights of our collaborative research and inviting you to help prioritise our future research activities. We’ll also be exploring how best to target our support for postgraduate students.
