The JBA Trust and the "JBA family"

The JBA Trust is a not-for-profit organisation (whose legal persona is a company limited by guarantee).

The Trust receives its core funding from the JBA Group of companies plus personal donations. However, it is legally independent and not owned by the JBA Group.

The Director of the Trust is Dr Rob Lamb. Rob is a scientist specialising in hydrology, hydraulics and risk management.

Core funding from the JBA Group pays for the Director and will pay for staff employed on projects carried out by the Trust.

The Trustees

The JBA Trust is governed by a board of trustee directors, with a majority of external trustees to underpin its independence.

We are grateful to the external trustees who have kindly offered to take their roles on an unpaid, voluntary basis.
